Phoenix Chapter Creed and Mission for 2024

Dear Members,

I have proudly served as Phoenix Chapter Membership Chair, since April 2023. As a representative for our Chapter Leadership Team, I am happy to make two announcements:

1. Phoenix Chapter of HPNA, 2024 Membership Creed and Mission:

Engaging, Empowering, and Elevating our members and our professions of Palliative and Hospice Nursing

2. Student Members, If you are attending AzNA RN Day at the Capitol on Thursday, February 1, 2024, Please be sure to say hello to Deb Bershad, she will be representing our chapter at this event. See comments below for more info.

Dear Student Members,
I am attending 2024 RN Day at the Phoenix State Capitol. I will be wearing a HPNA pin, a red & navy print blouse, and navy slacks.

I am happy to report it was a great day. I joined the other members of District 25 and together we went to the offices of our state senator and representatives and let them know the legislation that we as nurses are supporting. I met the lobbyist for AzNA and am looking forward to becoming more active in state level legislation that is of interest to us as nurses and to attending the event again next year.
