Phoenix Chapter of HPNA

Call for Nominations to Phoenix Chapter Board

Posted almost 8 years ago by Stephanie Desiderio

On behalf of the HPNA Phoenix Chapter Nominations Committee, it is with pleasure that I invite all members to consider serving the local hospice and palliative community through this non-profit service organization. You may dedicate four to six hours per month enhancing our organization with your talents in the following focus areas: Membership, Programming,  Nominating, Communications, President-Elect and Treasurer. All positions come with seasoned mentors for one year of transition. Please read general description of responsibilities of each committee/office on our announcement page.

Being a member of the board or either committee offers an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the world of hospice and palliative care by working synergistically with the core group of the local chapter. Involvement offers a one year appointment and can be held by any member of the local chapter. Committee chairpersons will be appointed by the Executive Board.

Please announce interests by sending an email to: phoenixhpna@gmail.com - By: 5pm MST Wednesday June 15, 2016. Please include the following information:
Position, committee or work group of interest.
Very brief bio with name, title, current employer if applicable and phone and email information for contact and follow up.

Include your vision for the committee that you are interested in, a critical issue that you believe members are facing that needs to be addressed, and a statement of agreement and support for HPNA mission, 'advancing expert care in serious illness'.

Service through the local HPNA chapter is one way to receive qualifying points in the HPAR recertification process. If you or someone you know are interested, please let us know!

If you have any questions, you may call:
