Please tell us the reasons why you chose to join this group? Do you have ideas to share? Now is the best time to share them for consideration and implementation.

Your experience, perspectives and talents are welcome with many opportunities to grow personally and professionally. We are a multi-disciplinary group focused on a mutual goal. Your efforts are honored as we grow toward greater service to our community.

There are many areas where your skills can be applied in service on the board, committees, work groups or in supportive roles. The CHPN HPAR certification process awards points to all active members who serve in a role for at least one calendar year. Our local board has several positions available for nominations and membership vote while other positions nominated may be appointed by the board.

I encourage each person who qualifies for an office, committee or duty as outlined in our bylaws (copied in the 'Announcements' section of our group web page). Please nominate someone you know or yourself by sending a brief email to phoenixhpna@gmail.com regarding talents to share, area of interest and your motivation for serving the hospice and palliative community.

The names and positions will be offered to active members for secured online voting and our new officers will begin serving in January- December 2017. Examine your conscious and consider your contribution to 'advancing expert care in serious illness'.
